The recent media around software supply chain attacks is just the tip of the iceberg around a much deeper industry issue. Distribution channels of open source software we trust as the foundation of modern software architectures are exposed to readily available supply chain attacks. This presentation will propose a decentralized, community-run, security-first approach to open-source software distribution. This proposal aims to let open source authors publish their releases with confidence that end-users will have a secure, community verified, highly available version of their library that relies on zero trust of individuals or corporations. Join the decentralized binary revolution and help us to create a clean source of liquid software to help open source projects thrive.
